About TáTú
In the Irish language TáTú means You Are - a remembering that there is always a way to return to yourself.
Modern life asks us to move quickly, stay connected, and adapt constantly. This work began with a simple question:
What helps us come back to ourselves so we can hear whats really true?
TáTú creates Irish flute-led music, guided rituals, and seasonal practices for deep rest, reflection, and reconnection with the natural world.
The experiences are designed to be simple and unhurried: a few minutes of listening, breathing, sensing, and allowing the day to soften.
Inspired by Irish landscape, traditional Irish flute, the turning of the seasons, and the quiet intelligence of nature, each offering invites you to create a more intentional relationship with rest.
Music for the thresholds
Much of life happens at a threshold: between work and home, activity and sleep, one season and the next, light and dark, an old way of being and a new one.
The music and practices here are created for those transitions.
A live Irish flute melody may accompany the end of a working day. A seasonal ritual may help you pause and notice where you are. A guided listening experience may offer a gentle pathway toward sleep or stillness.
These are not practices to perfect. They are invitations to arrive.
-
TáTú was founded by Dillon Burns (Down/Belfast), now living by the sea and mountains in beautiful Kerry, Éire.
For two decades, I worked in corporate technology, helping people navigate complex problems in high-pressure environments. That complexity, uncertainty, constant change, and demanding fast-moving environment, gave me a deep understanding of how difficult it can be to slow down and reconnect - not because we do not value those things, but because we often lose a way back to it.
Alongside my professional life, I developed a longstanding practice and study in holistic health and lifestyle. I am a trained, licensed, and certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach, and have also trained and certified in Dance Movement Therapy.
Music has always been central to how I understand presence and expression. I am an Irish flute musician and I am currently continuing my studies in music composition, sound therapy, and other related areas in the healing arts.
This work brings those strands together:
- The practical understanding of life in a demanding, changing world
- The embodied awareness developed through movement and holistic practice
- The emotional and sensory language of music
- A deep connection to Irish flute and seasonal nature-based traditions
TáTú is not here to offer another system for you to follow or another demand to add to your day. It is here creating carefully held experiences that make it easier to pause, listen, and reconnect with your own sense of rhythm.
Rooted in place and season
The work draws inspiration from Irish landscapes, weather, folklore, music, and the changing light of the year.
The seasonal offerings may reflect the themes of threshold, renewal, growth, abundance, release, rest, and return. They are contemporary practices inspired by Irish heritage and the natural world, created with respect for the traditions and cultures from which those inspirations come.
You do not need Irish heritage or previous meditation experience to take part. You only need a willingness to listen, and to come back to yourself.
